What space do I need for a golf simulator setup?

Accepted Answer

Indoor setups need approximately 4.9m (depth) x 3.75m (width) x 2.78m (height) for a full swing and clear projection. Outdoor setups need a minimum of 6m x 6m. We'll confirm exact requirements for your venue at enquiry.

Do you need power on-site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a standard power point is required for every setup. If your venue doesn't have convenient access, we can supply a generator as an add-on.

Do you travel outside Auckland

Accepted Answer

Yes - Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Whangārei and further afield across the North Island. Travel is quoted based on location.

What happens if it rains for an outdoor event?

Accepted Answer

Our simulators work perfectly indoors, and outdoor setups will be covered for light rain with our marquee. For heavy rain or severe weather we'll talk through indoor relocation or rescheduling ahead of time.

Do I need golf experience to use the simulator?

Accepted Answer

Not at all - designed for complete beginners through experienced golfers, with a full induction included, plus left and right-handed and women's clubs available.

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Setup typically takes around an hour for indoor event and up to 2 hours for outdoor events.We handle pack-down too.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend 4 - 6 weeks' notice and at least 8 weeks for custom branded experiences.However please don't hesitate to get in touch for a last minute solution as we may be able to save the day!

Is a deposit required to secure my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a deposit secures your date, with the balance due before your event. Full terms are included with your quote.

What's included in the hire?

Accepted Answer

Every package includes the simulator, launch monitor, projector, screen, enclosure, clubs, balls, setup and pack-down. Staffed packages add an operator and more.

How many people can play, and is it suitable for large groups?

Accepted Answer

Because our events run as fast-paced competitions rather than full rounds, one simulator comfortably rotates through 20–30+ guests per hour, with everyone getting multiple turns.For larger groups, we may be able to arrange multiple units running side by side.The smaller the group size the more time you get on the equipment.

We use the Foresight GC3 launch monitor - the same precision technology trusted by touring professionals and golf academies. It captures ball speed, spin, launch angle and trajectory in real time for genuinely realistic, consistent gameplay.
